Workers' Compensation Associate

The Essentials: Schedule:32 hours per week | Monday-FridayLocation:Fairlawn, OHSpecialties:Workers Compensation What Youll Do: Communicates with patients, MCOs, employers, attorneys, therapists and staff.

They complete all Workers Compensation forms.Correctly completes assigned forms relating to workers compensation which may include First Report of Injury (FROI), motions; approvals for surgeries, evaluations, treatments; faxes and/or processes forms as needed; handles related phone calls.Receives and determines appropriate steps to resolve Workers Compensation calls from patients, MCOs, Employers, attorneys, clinicians and staff.Maintains familiarity with Ohio BWC website in order to research information.

What Were Looking For: Education:High school diploma or GED required.Experience:One-year prior experience in a Workers Compensation department or medical office preferred.
