YARD WORKER

Join Our Team as a Yard Worker! Viking, a Texas tradition in fencing since 1972, is looking for a full-time, non-exempt Yard Worker to join our Sanitation division.

If you are a forklift pro with a positive attitude and a knack for detail, we want to hear from you! Key Duties & Responsibilities: Operate forklift and banding equipment safely and efficiently.Clean & sanitize rental equipment Use various motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jacks and dollies.

Repair and stack panels.

Make sandbags for temporary fence rental orders.

Accurately load trucks based on outgoing orders.

Receive inbound material and organize in the yard.

Maintain excellent yard presentation.

Secure freight on trucks using appropriate tools and supplies.

Work safely and efficiently, following company safety policies.

Complete special projects as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Exposure to all types of weather.

Regularly lift freight and objects (up to 50 lbs.).

Safely navigate loading docks that may be slippery.

Extended periods of walking and standing.

Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary.
