Press Crew

All employees must wear safety glasses at all times.

(Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture.) Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request.

Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.

Hot Press Crew must be ableto performthefollowing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations: Catch boards from glue spreader and place in buck for laminationMonitor glue spread on panelsAbility to deal with hot glue.

Select and place cover boards for stacked panels.Help with cleaning and set up of glue spreader at start and end of shift.Ability to stack panels as they come off the hot press.Stage veneer to be ran on press.Attention to detail.Lift up to 50 lbs maximum and up to 20 lbs regularly.

(Anything heavier requires assistance with lifting).
