EVENING SUPERVISOR FOR FF MUELLER RESIDENTIAL CENTER

WORK HOURS ARE 2 P.M.

TO 1O P.M.

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES: Oversees and manages staff on the residential units.

Supervises staff to ensure compliance and high-quality resident care.

Directs unit direct care staff in maintaining a safe, clean, well-equipped living environment.

Ensures Individuals' work, school, and leisure schedule.

May assist staff as needed in daily personal care duties.

Adheres to bargaining unit negotiated agreement, attends Labor Management Committee and Negotiating team, as assigned.

Serves on a team that conducts and makes recommendations in the hiring process.

Orients, trains and supervises assigned staff.

Monitors and ensures staff compliance to departmental, program, state and federal rules and regulations.

Monitors staff attendance.

Receives and recommends leave requests.

Verifies employee payroll transaction documentation.

Recommends and implements discipline as appropriate.

Receives and processes grievances per policy and procedure.

Assists staff in resolving problems.

Conducts timely employee evaluations.

Develops staffing grids and conducts selection process as assigned.

Schedules and replaces staff to ensure coverage/ Individual safety and well-being.

Coordinates with the Program Manager, prepares agenda for and conducts unit staff meetings to discuss policies and procedures, regulations, and other related unit concerns.

Works with Individuals and families to ensure high quality care and living.

Encourages family/guardian involvement by communicating regularly, regarding Individuals' needs.

Assures that Individuals achieve self-help and socialization goals as specified in Individual Plans.

Safeguards Individuals rights/advocates for and instructs in Individual rights.

Reports all allegations and suspicions of abuse and neglect to appropriate authority and follows up on situations as needed or directed.

Prepares and reviews daily communication logs and reports on Individuals as required or requested.

Communicates with parents and workshop staff to discuss and resolve Individuals' concerns and progress.

Assists in maintaining records of Individuals' money, balances and uses.

Authorizes forms to order cash for Individuals.

Authorizes requests for food/supplies from kitchen and maintenance, etc.

Monitors treatment sheet documentations and Care Tracker data.

May transport Individuals in county vehicle to or from school/workshop on special occasions, for active treatment, leisure time activities, medical appointments.

Responsible for compliance and smooth daily operations.

Serves as first-line review of work-related accidents (including UI/MUIs) and appropriate follow-up.

Assures compliance with Medicaid and Licensure regulations.

Assists the Director and Program Manager in developing and monitoring living unit budget that includes expenditures for food, maintenance, supplies, personnel costs, etc.

May be required to be trained in medication administration and be able to perform medication administration.
