Job Description Summary


* Perform general labor to support our asphalt crews which include shoveling, raking, and maintaining a clean and safe job site.

If you have any experience working as a ground worker, power broom operator, or skid steer operator that is a plus.

Requirements


* Physical ability to operate equipment under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time.

Normal shift is 8-12 hours.


* The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers.


* Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.


* Properly follow all Company policies and OSHA guidelines for a safe working environment.


* Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project.


* Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery and other equipment used on the job site.


* Responsible for upkeep of tools and work area.


* Perform other duties as assigned.


* Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes.

Overtime work required.

Out of town/county/state work may be required.


* Ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with ability to learn in a fast paced environment.


* Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.


* Attitude/Cooperation: Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, public.


* Must pass drug test and background check.
