As Part Time - Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the night shift.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and that the hotel is in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during the night shift.

A little taste of your day to day

Every night is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Perform end-of-day accounting and financial reporting procedures, including reconciling room revenues, verifying room rates, posting room charges, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial records.

Balance all cash, check, and credit card transactions and compile daily financial reports.

Assist with the check-in and check-out process for guests during the night shift.

Provide exceptional customer service to guests during the night shift, handling any guest inquiries or complaints and ensuring that all guest needs are met.

Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel during the night shift, including ensuring that all entrances and exits are secure and that all safety protocols are followed.

Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure that all hotel operations run smoothly during the night shift.

What we need from you

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in hotel operations or accounting preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult guest situations with tact and diplomacy.

Proficient computer skills, including experience with hotel property management systems and financial reporting software.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with hotel staff and guests.

Ability to work independently and efficiently during the night shift.
