Job Description:

Key Responsibilities


* Prior experience with saw and other production related equipment required.


* Ability to safely set up and operate equipment to meet production requirements.


* Knowledge and compliance of safety, quality, maintenance and housekeeping requirements.


* Ability to read and interpret work orders to understand machine setup requirements.


* Ability to identify different paper grades and widths.


* Ability to calculate conversion of fractions to decimals, ability to read a tape measure, and calipers.


* Ability to work with the winder operator to plan stops and changeovers


* Ability to complete and maintain forklift certification


* Perform periodic quality checks to ensure compliance specifications and/or COAs using the CSAR quality system.


* Compliance with all OPEX recordkeeping requirements.


* Possess knowledge and understanding of lean tools such as 5-Why’s, Fishbone, 5’s, SMED, Operator care, Reliability, and RCPS.


* Performs other tasks, as required.

Education and Experience


* Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up 1-2 years of relevant experience.

* Excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills


* Self-motivated, attention to detail while still being able to work together with peers as a team.


* Adhere to specific quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction


* Ability to follow company policies and guidelines

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $17.55 - $28.03annually.

Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between17.55 to28.03.

Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
