Unit Clerk (Crisis Stabilization)
There is a place for you at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health!Highland Rivers provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness; substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.Are you ready to make a Difference?Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with the clerical and unit duties including providing feedback on daily registration processes, admissions, discharges and staffing issues.
Provide assistance to staff as necessary to ensure that daily facility operations are functioning smoothly.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Completes intake forms and enters demographic and payer information for all crisis individuals into Carelogic, obtaining new MHID#'s as applicable, and according to P&P.
* Opens and closes crisis individuals in Carelogic as individuals are admitted and discharged.
* Runs reports in the EHR such as Failed Activities/Connects/billing errors reports no less than three times weekly.
Works closely with Highland Rivers UM department and Crisis Case Managers to resolve errors found.
* Scans Medical records into EHR and sends medical records requests according to P&P.
* Completes Supply orders, Purchase Orders, EHR Helpdesk tickets and Facilities tickets as needed.
* Complete ERF documentation for all appropriate admissions.
* Review/maintain daily census logs to ensure accuracy and completion (CSC, T-Bed, CSU) and emails to involved parties the daily census for the unit as backup.
* Create reports and track data as needed and or required for the Crisis departments.
* Keep updated master copies of ALL forms, making them available to all staff as needed.
* Assist in assuring Agency compliance with all related licensing and accreditation requirements.
* Answer phones professionally using established protocols.
* Assists administration with letters, memo's, emails, and Attends staff meetings as scheduled.
* Other duties as assigned.
