Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional engineering teams through the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and electro-mechanical product development projects.
This role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with technical, quality, and customer requirements.
The Project Manager serves as the primary coordination point between engineering, manufacturing, program management, and external stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
* Lead software and electro-mechanical engineering projects from concept through product release using established project management methodologies and best practices.
* Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and risk management plans.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams including software, embedded systems, electrical, mechanical, systems engineering, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality.
* Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risks, dependencies, and technical issues while driving projects to successful completion.
* Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies to minimize schedule, technical, and financial impacts.
* Monitor project performance using established metrics and provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
* Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, milestone reviews, and decision-making activities.
* Work closely with Program Managers, Engineering Managers, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product delivery.
* Support transition from engineering development into manufacturing and production while ensuring product readiness, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved.
