Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM - This is a temp-to-hire with the eligibility of full-time permanent placement.
Benefits: This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by accurately pulling and processing orders, operating forklifts, managing inventory, and assisting customers with pickups and deliveries.
This hands-on role requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Pull, package, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Safely operate forklifts and saw equipment.
* Assist with deliveries and help resolve customer concerns.
* Deliver exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
* Learn and utilize the company's barcoding and inventory management systems.
* Assist will-call customers with order pickup and loading.
* Perform additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Education:
* A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Qualifications:
* 1+ year of forklift experience (Required)
* Clean Driving Record (MVR)
* Dependable with excellent attendance (We take this seriously!)
* Positive team player with a can-do attitude
* Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills
* Physically able to lift boxes, clean floors, and handle warehouse tasks
* Focused & goal-oriented (No distractions!)
* Enjoys a fast-paced, high-accuracy environment
Other:
* Ability to lift and move plastic materials up to 50 lbs.
* Demonstrates consistent attendance, punctuality, and dependability in meeting work schedules and job responsibilities.
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately read and apply measurements to support warehouse operations and order fulfillment
