Georgia-Pacific has openings for Forklift Operators at our Mailers facility in Jonestown, PA.

We are looking for self-starters with the desire to learn new skills which include completing inventory documentation and performing basic preventive maintenance on the equipment.

This role creates value by collaboratively working with production team members to ensure that a quality product is produced for our customers in a timely manner.

The Forklift Operator personnel reinforce the long-term goals of the organization by assisting the production operators and contributing to a team environment.

Position Specific Details and Highlights:


* Starting wages are $24.25 per hour with shift differentials of $1.00 when you work the night shift.


* Shifts include: Dupont schedule (rotating 12 hour shifts) 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.

There is days off between your night and day rotations.

Work only 14 days out of the month, giving you 13 weeks off in the year.

Weekends, holidays, and overtime are all possible on your crew shift.

Crew placement will be determined upon need at time of hire.

What You Will Do


* Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures


* Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials and finished product using a forklift.


* Complete inventory/department documentation (both manually and with the use of a computer software system)


* Perform basic preventive maintenance and fueling equipment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* 6+ months experience operating a forklift safely in a manufacturing, industrial or warehouse environment


* This role works rotating 12 hour shifts, with a 7-day break in every 28-day period
