Finance Analyst
The Finance Analyst will work closely with the CFO and other members of management and the executive team to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into actionable insights and recommendations.
This role will involve working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, optimizing systems, and ensuring successful project execution.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, gather, and document requirements for new projects and system enhancements.Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, business performance, and areas for improvement.
Present findings through reports and dashboards.Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs.Solution Development: Work with IT teams to develop and implement software solutions or system enhancements based on business requirements.Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and ongoing communication with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and manage expectations.Testing & Validation: Support the development and implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring all requirements are met and performing tests to verify functionality.Documentation: Prepare clear, concise, and detailed documentation for requirements, processes, and system designs.Project Support: Assist with project planning, timelines, and reporting.
Support the successful delivery of projects by managing risks and issues and ensuring they stay within scope.Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance business analysis skills and knowledge.Budget Tracking & Monitoring: Monitor ongoing budget performance, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
Identify discrepancies and report them to management.Cost Control: Work with departments to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve financial efficiencies, and optimize resource allocation.Variance Analysis: Perform monthly or quarterly variance analysis, comparing actual expenditures with budgeted amounts, and provide explanations for variances.Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, summaries, and presentations for management and other stakeholders, highlighting budget status and key financial insights.
