The Shop Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of Resource Transports fleet.

This position is responsible for leading mechanics, ensuring work quality, and maintaining the safety and reliability of diesel-powered trucks and trailers.

The Shop Supervisor provides technical expertise, mentors team members, coordinates daily workload, and ensures compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, train, and supervise Fleet Mechanics, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration.Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance and repair work to minimize equipment downtime.Review completed Work Orders to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and Fleetio updates.Ensure all maintenance complies with safety regulations (DOT, EPA) and Company standards.Maintain clear communication with leadership, team members, and vendors.Oversee shift changes, Work Order handoffs, and daily operational meetings.
