Electrical Engineer II
The Electrical Engineer II leads and delivers electrical designs for small to medium projects and portions of larger projects, applying strong expertise in power and lighting design, NEC compliance, energy codes, and national standards with minimal oversight.
This role serves as a key technical and project leader, collaborating directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams, performing advanced calculations and quality control, developing construction documents and specifications, managing budgets, and, when approved, serving as Engineer of Record on select projects while mentoring less experienced staff.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Engineer has the ability to lead a client/client team (1-5 staff), small to medium projects, or portions of a large project utilizing their experience and education in lighting design, power design, and knowledge of NEC and other national standards; as well as solve most design challenges that arise on a project.
* Engineer should have a basic understanding of energy codes and how to apply them to power and lighting design with minimal oversight.
* Engineer can work in an independent manner on several project and/or client types with minimal supervision from a more Senior Engineer or Designer.
* Engineer should have a good understanding of photometric calculations, lighting design, and be able to independently select lighting systems and controls for projects listed above.
