Job Description:

ROLE OVERVIEW: 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Job Requirements:



* Check outbound orders for defects and accuracy according to order specs.


* Prepare BOLs and check items against to be shipped list.


* Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand, using pallet jacks, or forklifts.


* Pull finished orders and load trucks accordingly.


* Stage orders to load trucks at later time.


* Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.


* Ensure safe and accurate loading of orders.


* Unload raw materials from inbound trucks.


* Verify accuracy of orders received.


* Assists with month end inventory.


* Assists with weekly inventory checks of raw materials and packaging material levels.


* Place raw materials in correct area of warehouse or production floor.


* Manually load and unload racks and waste from inbound trucks.


* Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads.


* Maintain clean and orderly warehouse at all times.


* Any other duties as needed.


* Maintain forklift certification.

Requirements


* Candidates are preferred to have minimum of (3) years of experience in a manufacturing shipping environment, both loading and unloading trucks.


* Candidates are preferred to have minimum of (3) years of experience working on sit down forklift, for at least 6 hours a day.


* Computer experience in a Shipping environment.


* Must be able to lift 40+ lbs.


* Must be self-motivated.


* Ability to follow directions as instructed.


* HS Diploma or equivalent required.


* Clean driving record & background.


* Must have a great safety record.


* Must be a team player.



* Must have great attendance record.
