Contracts Manager
Job Overview: This position is responsible for supporting the legal department and staff attorneys related to all corporate legal matters.
Areas of responsibility include evaluating legal/contractual documents for compliance with terms and conditions, legal correspondence with Loomis customers, legal evaluations, litigation, and monitoring sensitive risk/financial-related data for trending.
This position reports to the VP Legal Services.
Job responsibilities:
* Support Loomis attorneys in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting i) service agreements; ii) vendor agreements; iii) real estate agreements; and iv) other cash management agreements.
Responsible for ensuring contract terms and conditions meet the company's contracting requirements
* Frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, landlords, and others, along with external counsel
* Routing legal notices and correspondence to the appropriate internal departments
* Limited contract review, revision, and redlining (depending on experience)
* Performing document and contract management
* Processing contract amendments
* Litigation support
* Supporting negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements
* Responding to various legal requests from sales teams
* Support research regarding legal contracting and contract management tools
* Responding to internal requests for contractual templates
* Assist with contract dispute tracking and analysis
* Compliance
+ Supporting review and processing of legal invoices
+ Supporting with departmental project audits
+ Auditing petty cash (receipting process)
+ Licensing issues
* Other duties as assigned.
Primary Qualifications:
* College degree with paralegal experience in handling corporate legal work, including real estate, contract negotiation, litigation, employment preferred
* Minimum of five years paralegal or contracts manager experience required
* Experience in either the transportation or financial services industries is a plus
Individual Skills and Competencies:
* Excellent technical skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required
* Experience in an environment that requires multitasking and strong organizational skills
* Proven written and oral communication skills
