Your Role: US Pet Health Veterinary District Sales Manager

As a District Sales Manager, you will coach and lead a district of approximately 10 territories in the US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Organization.

In this role, your leadership will be critical to the success of Elanco as the Pet Health organization embarks on a historic launch period.

Your Responsibilities:



* Recruit, interview, and select a high-performing team of representatives to represent Elanco’s companion animal products and direct strategic partner efforts.


* Achieve specified District sales objectives across all product categories while managing and utilizing resources to accomplish planned objectives.


* Develop and execute strategic business plans for corporate veterinary account headquarters and strategic partners within the district’s defined geography.


* Analyze and evaluate reporting metrics to ensure optimal placement and utilization of resources for maximum business results.


* Implement marketing plans through representatives to key veterinary hospitals and across all channel partners.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

Education:


* Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience

Experience:


* Minimum of at least 5 years animal health sales experience and/or previous experience managing a sales team

Top Skills:


* Strong coaching and leadership skills to deliver maximum results; Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
