Your Role: Regional Consulting Veterinarian (RCV)

As a Regional Consulting Veterinarian (RCV) for the US Pet Health Business Unit, you will serve as the technical veterinary expert for sales representatives, corporate hospitals, and universities.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for educating veterinary professionals on Elanco’s Pet Health portfolio and fostering relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive business success.

Your Responsibilities:


* Provide technical support and deliver scientific presentations to customers, sales teams, and at veterinary industry meetings.


* Develop and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and provide dedicated support to assigned Veterinary Colleges.


* Lead technical training for current products and support the execution of new product launches.


* Monitor scientific literature and stay current with relevant medical technologies to provide high-level clinical expertise.


* Collaborate with Strategic, Specialty, and Retail Accounts to provide technical guidance and support regulatory compliance for adverse event reporting.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

Education:


* Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary program with a DVM or VMD degree; must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the US.

Experience:


* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian in companion or mixed animal practice (industry experience also considered).


* Clinical diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment with a valid US driver’s license.
