As a Laundry Attendant, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring hotel linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, presented, and cared for to the high standards expected.

Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you'll help maintain efficient laundry operations while ensuring fresh, high-quality linen and uniforms are always available.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


* Operating commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.


* Washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, and storing hotel linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry in line with resort standards.


* Monitoring linen quality and identifying damaged or worn items for repair or replacement.


* Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic laundry area while following all health and safety procedures.


* Reporting equipment faults, maintenance issues, or safety hazards promptly.


* Assisting with linen stock control, inventory counts, and deliveries as required.


* Working closely with the Housekeeping team and other departments to ensure daily operations run smoothly.


* Supporting the wider Housekeeping team during busy periods and assisting across other operational areas when needed.

Base rate $27.48 + penalties + loading

To be successful in this part-time role, you will have:


* Previous laundry, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment is preferred.


* A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and commitment to high standards.


* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


* Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.


* Reliable, flexible, and willing to assist across different areas as needed.


* Strong organisational and time management skills.


* Ability to safely operate commercial laundry equipment and follow manual handling practices.


* Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift, bend, and handle laundry trolleys.
