Service Technician

Field Service Technician Ohios leader in Commercial Food Equipment Service and Repair is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to provide exceptional technical & customer service with professionalism and excellence for our Columbus location.

Responsibilities Include: Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing commercial refrigeration and/or cooking equipment individually or with a team of techniciansPerforming inspections and diagnosis for proactive maintenance on commercial food service equipment to ensure equipment is healthy and runs properlyReading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematicsProviding assistance with estimates for repair or replacement of equipmentAssisting customers in making informed repair / replace decisions with creativity and integrityCompleting written work orders to describe and document equipment issues and the service solution deliveredPromoting a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures Preferred Qualifications Include: MUST have a valid drivers licenseAbility to exert up to 50 pounds of force regularly and 100 pounds of force frequentlyAbility to climb and work from a ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and grasp to perform essential job functionsHigh School diploma or equivalent job experienceLicense or Certification in Electric, Gas, Steam, Refrigeration, and/or HVAC is a plus Benefits Include: Paid Vacation and Sick timeHealth, Vision, and Dental plansDisability and Life insurance401K with MatchCompany Vehicle, Cell Phone, Uniform, Gas cardPaid Industry and Manufacturer TrainingAdditional Income Opportunity for After Hours and Weekend Work About CPSCelebrating 50 years in the industry, Commercial Parts & Service, Inc.
