Breakfast Cook, Inns of Mendocino, Part-Time

Looking for a part-time job with a predictable schedule in a beautiful setting? Inns of Mendocino is seeking a dependable Morning Cook to prepare our signature breakfast experience for hotel guests.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, works well independently, and takes pride in creating fresh, beautifully presented food.

If you're looking for a peaceful work environment, a small supportive team, and mornings that end by mid-afternoon, we'd love to hear from you.

A valid driver's license, reliable registered and insured vehicle, and dependable attendance are required.

Mileage reimbursement is provided when deliveries between our three houses are required.

What You'll Do Prepare and present our daily breakfast Bake our signature afternoon cookies Prepare light afternoon cheese boards and snacks Plan simple seasonal menus Pack and prepare picnic baskets for guests Occasionally deliver picnic baskets to guestrooms located at our three inn houses (mileage reimbursement provided when personal vehicle is used) Order and organize kitchen inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen Work with the hotel team to accommodate guest dietary requests Help create memorable experiences for every guest We're Looking For Someone Who Is Dependable and punctual Friendly and enjoys hospitality Comfortable working independently Organized and detail-oriented Passionate about cooking and baking Committed to maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen Looking for a stable, long-term part-time position Cooking experience is preferred.

Food safety knowledge and a love of preparing quality food are essential.
