The Role: Project Engineer

Overview: The Project Engineer supports the end-to-end execution of customer orders from purchase order to delivery, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, schedule, and quality standards.

Supporting Australia and New Zealand (AUNZ) customers, this role works closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and sales) to drive smooth coordination, timely delivery, and high-quality outcomes.

The role manages multiple transactional orders from small to medium complexity, requiring strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What will you do?


* Receive and validate purchase orders; ensure accurate system and factory order booking


* Support end-to-end order execution from PO to delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality


* Review technical requirements, specifications, and drawings to support execution and resolve issues


* Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth execution


* Track order progress, key milestones, and risks; escalate issues as needed


* Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal processes


* Support project closeout, including documentation and handover activities


* Contribute to process improvements and share lessons learned

Who would be successful?


* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field


* Experience in electrical estimating/tendering, planning, order management, or project engineering.


* Strong ability to manage multiple orders/projects in a fast-paced environment


* Effective in cross-functional coordination (supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, sales)


* Technical capability to review electrical requirements, specifications, and drawings


* Proactive in identifying risks and resolving issues


* Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting discipline


* Strong communication and customer management skills


* Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
