Vendor Management Analyst II
Job Summary:
The Vendor Management Analyst II is responsible for executing vendor and partner management activities, supporting vendor performance oversight, and producing analysis and reporting to enable effective decision making.
Working within established frameworks, the Analyst applies analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor performance, identify and communicate issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives that drive business value for Allegis Group.
In-Office Requirement:
* Required in-office presence at least 4 days per week
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
* Execute vendor management activities for assigned vendors, including monitoring performance, escalating complex issues, and tracking delivery against committed service levels.
* Monitor vendor performance against contract terms to ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, operational targets, and financial agreements.
Support triage of SLA compliance issues; submit and track credits due.
* Act as a central point of contact for assigned vendors, building effective working relationships with vendor contacts across all organizational levels.
* Prepare materials for Strategic Business Reviews, coordinate logistics, and ensure vendor and business stakeholder needs are captured and addressed.
* Collaborate with and support Finance with invoice validation, billing dispute tracking and resolution, cost analysis, and benchmarking.
* Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, business leads, and Procurement to ensure consistent utilization of Allegis Group vendor management policies and procedures, and to identify and mitigate potential contract-related risks.
* Create, publish, and maintain vendor performance dashboards for leadership consumption.
* Create and manage surveys, analyze survey data, identify trends, and develop presentations.
* Identify and support best practices, standardization, reporting, communication, automation, and process improvements to deliver operational excellence across vendor management processes.
* Support Allegis Group's vendor framework to ensure vendor interactions remain structured, purposeful, and business-driven.
* Support the development and formalization of relationships with strategic and emerging vendors.
* Stay abreast of vendor management trends to support optimization and process improvement initiatives.
* Leverage technology tools and data platforms to support vendor performance tracking, reporting, and analysis.
* Maintain the MS Team site, ensuring artifacts such as action items, presentations, scorecards, playbooks, templates, and process documentation are organized and current.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience; or in lieu of degree, 4 years of experience in an Information Technology or procurement environment.
