We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Advanced Development Engineer to lead the development of next-generation manufacturing technologies and product designs for high-speed wiring harnesses.

This position is responsible for researching, developing, and validating advanced manufacturing processes, tooling concepts, and product innovations that improve performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost for future electrical interconnect systems.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a passion for solving complex technical challenges, developing new manufacturing capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to bring innovative concepts from prototype through production readiness.

What You Will Do



* Lead the development of innovative manufacturing processes for next-generation high-speed wiring harnesses and electrical interconnect products.


* Design, develop, and validate new product concepts that improve electrical performance, manufacturability, and reliability.


* Research and evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies including automation, robotics, laser processing, additive manufacturing, precision dispensing, advanced joining methods, and digital manufacturing techniques.


* Develop prototype tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment to support proof-of-concept and process validation activities.


* Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize manufacturing processes and product performance.


* Collaborate with Product Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure successful implementation of new technologies.


* Analyze manufacturing data to identify process improvements, reduce variation, and improve production efficiency.


* Support prototype builds and transition successful development projects into production.


* Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, presentations, and project updates for management and cross-functional teams.


* Work closely with equipment suppliers and technology partners to evaluate and implement emerging manufacturing solutions.


* Provide technical leadership on advanced development projects while managing multiple priorities and project timelines.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
