PHP/IOP Therapist and Care Manager-This is a full-time exempt position, (40 hours) Mon.-Fri.

This position is located at our Vicente campus in San Francisco.A new hire in this position would also receive a $5000 Retention bonus after a year.

Program Description Edgewoods Acute Intensive Services program is a comprehensive short-term mental health program that offers a full spectrum of therapeutic supports, ranging from Residential treatment to Intensive Outpatient support.

The PHP/IOP programs in AIS work to stabilize, assess, and provide intensive treatment to youth who have recently experienced a mental health crisis and received emergency mental health services such as hospitalization or residential treatment, or are at risk of a significant mental health crisis that would require out of home placement.

These youth attend intensive group-based mental health programming during the day at Edgewood and go home in the evening and on the weekends.

Position Description Acute Intensive Services Therapist/Care Managers in the PHP/IOP Program provide intensive strategies to address any current need for stabilization, crisis intervention and individual, family and group trauma-focused treatment.

Therapist/Care Managers must have strong clinical and advocacy skills, demonstrate flexibility, utilize a strengths-based approach, and demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents with high mental health needs.

Therapist/Care Mangers work as an integral member of multi-disciplinary milieu team that addresses the child or youth's behavioral and mental health needs.

The Therapist/Care Manager adheres to all agency and EPSDT billing and documentation requirements and works with the Clinical Supervisor (or Clinical Leadership Team) to identify policies, procedures, and training needs.
