Methods and Maintenance Manager - Angoulême, France - F/H

L2A laboratory dedicated to Control & Signaling activities.

We test electromechanical products with our range of industrial push buttons, as well as electronic products with wired and wireless communication (Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).

This laboratory is Cofrac accredited and UL and CSA certified, giving it international recognition.

The team consists of around twenty people working in a variety of fields (environment/mechanics (vibration, shock, waterproofing, etc.), EMC, chemical and physical characterization of materials).

We also work on firmware validation and cybersecurity.

Your role:

As a Methods and Maintenance Engineer for the L2A laboratory, reporting to the Laboratory Manager (Philippe) you will be responsible for maintaining the laboratory's equipment inventory with the support of external suppliers.

Furthermore, as project manager, you will oversee the development of testing equipment, such as upgrades, adding functionalities, and improving HMIs (methods activities).

Finally, you will be in charge of all first-level maintenance activities (whether outsourced or not) and will also act as the lockout / Tagout coordinator for equipment under repair.

Your primary objective is to ensure equipment's availability within the shortest possible timeframes.

Your missions:


* Manage the budget and expenses for Method and Maintenance of testing equipment.


* Participate in the development of specifications.


* Validate the technical and financial proposals of the suppliers.


* Receive test equipment after maintenance or improvement operations (acceptance and qualification).


* Identify malfunctions (at the process level, or at the supply flow level...), define the corrective actions to be implemented and deploy them.


* Provide technical support (including training) to users of testing equipment


* Develop activity indicators, monitor them and propose action plans.


* Prepare or subcontract the drafting of instructions for the use of testing equipment.


* Manage corrective and preventive maintenance of test equipment (excluding metrology equipment and IT systems).


* Manage external service providers: tendering, selection of providers, contract management, technical monitoring.


* Implement development projects based on user needs.


* Monitor technological and regulatory developments and make recommendations to management.


* Contribute to the harmonization of testing processes and technologies.


* Be accountable for tests equipment availability.

Your profile:


* BTS in Electrical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience


* Mechatronics Engineer

Your compétences:


* Mechatronics/Electrotechnical Profile
