Duties and Responsibilities: Maintaining awareness of location and behavior of clients at all timesProactive positive involvement and interaction with clients during their day to day programming and identified services activities Management and monitoring of clients day to day programmingFacilitating and encouraging clients consistent participation in daily routines such as wake-ups, showering, incentives, etc.Performing a variety of service activities such as wake-ups, showering, incentives, transportation, recreational planning, and participation and administering of medicationsPreparing, serving, and monitoring all meals and snacksAssisting co-workers and clients in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly environmentFollowing safe work practices and maintaining safe environments in compliance with established standards, regulations, and generally accepted practicesPromptly reporting any safety or health hazards to immediate supervisorAssisting in, and when required, performing client tasks; such as cleaning kitchen and rooms and laundryAssisting co-workers and clients in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of public areas of the facilityResponding to crisis episodes clients may experience in a supportive, empathic, respectful and professional mannerCommunicating with co-workers and the public professionally, courteously, and politely.

Providing accurate and timely feedback to supervisor and co-workers with regard to client behaviors, responsiveness to programming, and other services and treatmentDocumenting all service delivery and daily programming to the appropriate record, report, log, or chart completely, accurately and according to agency timelinesAttending and participating in all scheduled meetingsActively participating in scheduled supervision to review work performance and any identified goals for professional improvementFollowing directions of supervisors promptly, accurately, and completelyParticipating in any in-service training, workshops, etc, as assignedDriving personal vehicle in certain circumstances and as directed in the performance of job duties, which may be during day light and/or after darkWorking any shift in any YSS program or facility as assignedRegular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the jobPerforming other job-related duties as assigned Work Environment: Casual/Smart CasualResidential
