Roofing Service Technician (St. Louis, MO)

JOB SUMMARY The ROOF TECHNICIANis responsible forrepairing and maintenance ofvarious typesof roofing systems for both commercial and residential roofing.This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.The technician must be able to assess damage, perform skilledrepairs, work atheights, and ensure that all work is performed to code andin accordance withmanufacturerspecifications.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.LABOR with crew to complete all aspects of jobs assigned by the company, including tear-off, repairs,installationand otherjobs asassigned.

2.

ASSIST in setup and tear down ofsafety equipment as instructed.

3.

SAFELY operatetools and equipment such as roofingnailers, ladders, harnesses, and scaffolding.

4.

MAINTAIN clean and safe job sites, following OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines.

5.

ABIDE by all job-site safety requirements, including PPE, fall protection,OSHAand Company policy safety requirements.

6.

REPORT all situations improperly protected.

7.

PARTICIPATE in weeklytrainingsand manufacturer system-specific training.

8.

ATTEND all companywide training events and any othertraining asassigned.

9.

PERFORMwork according to company standards.

10.

COLLABORATE with the assigned crew and work for the benefit of all.

11.

MENTORless-experienced crew members.

12.

PERFORMSOTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSAND ABILITIES: Knowledge ofroofing systemsofvarious residential and commercial roofing materials and installation techniques.

Ability touse hand and power tools, safely and effectively.

Ability to pay attention to quality and safety with a goal of installing correctly and working safely with a willingness to make improvements.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work-related documents.

Ability to work manual labor in all weather conditions.

Ability to work at heights, climb, stoop, bend over, andlift upto 50 lbs.

Ability to communicate clearly with crew members,supervisorsand clients.

Ability to work 8 to 12hoursshifts, weekdays, weekends,and holidayswith travel.
