A Brief Overview

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory transactions, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting effective inventory management within the manufacturing facility.

This role works closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to reconcile inventory, investigate discrepancies, and drive improvements in inventory accuracy and reporting.

The Inventory Control Analyst plays a key role in supporting cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory optimization initiatives, contributing to overall operational efficiency and cost control.

What you will do


* Analyze inventory transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy in ERP systems.

Investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.


* Coordinate and support routine cycle counts and annual physical inventories.

Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.


* Collaborate with warehouse, production, and supply chain teams to validate inventory levels, resolve issues, and improve processes.


* Prepare and distribute inventory reports, including inventory valuations, aging, and usage trends.

Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities as they relate to inventory.


* Maintain item master data, material movements, and system controls to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.


* Identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory tracking processes and system efficiencies.


* Assist with scrap analysis and disposition.
