Position Summary: As an industry leader in wholesale, retail, and residential food distribution, Baldor Specialty Foods continues to grow and evolve at a rapid pace across all departments.

The Inventory Control Specialist will oversee all activities related to ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, supplies and products..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure to check all products that customers return.

Conducts bin audits Re-packs Handles put-aways Investigates inventory issues and recommends solutions Pick backorders for special items/special customers Check/report quality issues Check returns from the day before.

Check all products that vendors return.

Examine and inspect stock items for defects, reporting any damages.

All good products must be cleaned before restock.

Team members return items back to inventory.

Return P.Os for credit and complete the proper paperwork.

Ensure the dump list is accurate, list items that cannot be sold.

Communicate with the Sanitation Department to ensure product waste doesnt get mixed up with the wholesale products.

Operate a forklift and/or a pallet jack when required.

Other duties as assigned.
