Scope of Responsibility: Perform general maintenance duties for large galvanizing manufacturing facility.

Essential Duties: Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, overhead crane systems, and production machines; follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools and electrical measurement tools.Controls downtime performing routine preventive maintenance and monitoring production equipment.Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Other duties as assigned, directed, requested, or needed Regular and on-time attendance Work in your shift as scheduled Getting along with coworkers Position Requirements: Experience: Industrial Production Equipment Maintenance Skills & Abilities: Basic Safety UnderstandingElectrical knowledgeOverhead CraneTechnical Aptitude and AbilityPower ToolsAttention to DetailFlexibilityTeam PlayerRegular and timely attendance is required Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbsGood hand eye coordinationMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping...
