This position is an evening position with hours of 3:00pm-11:30pm Position Summary: Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.

Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.

Post caution signs.

Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs.

Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.

Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts.

Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.

Core Competencies Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.

Move and arrange furniture as necessary including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.

Collect and launder soiled linens and store linen supplies in linen closet.

Clean and stock restrooms with supplies.

Refurnish rooms with supplies, towels, etc.

as required.

Follow all safety procedures and regulations when using chemicals and equipment.

Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, vacuums, and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.

Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork; washes windows, door panels, and sills.

Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations when using chemicals.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure public areas are clean and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out of order.

Coordinate and help housekeeping with heavy lifting and priority requests.

Use your watchfulness to report missing or found articles and any sign of damage or needed repair.
