Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining mechanical, pipeline, and electrical/electronic equipment in optimum operating conditions.

Responsible for inspections and documentation on equipment to meet State and Federal guidelines.

Performs oil spill response and clean up.

Manages company assets such as vehicles, tools, and test equipment.

Supervises contract work.

Maintains company's high standard for safety and workmanship.

Must carry a cell phone and be available.

Mandatory on-call 24/7, nights holidays and weekends to support maintenance, operations and emergency response activities..

Minimum Qualifications



* High School Diploma / Associate Degree (Preferred)


* Associate degree in Electronics & Instrumentation (E & I) plus 2 years of pipeline or oil industry experience OR 4 years of experience as an E & I technician in the oil and gas industry in lieu of associate degree.


* Proven trouble shooting and technical ability.


* Electrical and Mechanical trouble shooting.


* Ability to evaluate and resolve a wide variety of problem situations.


* Ability to perform multiple pipeline functions.


* Ability to be flexible and innovative in thinking and working.


* Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
