Bus Driver (Part-Time)

Position Description The Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students along set morning routes, field trips, and other related school activities.

The Bus Driver is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and maintenance of the schools transportation fleet, including buses and vans.

Duties & Responsibilities: Demonstrates empathy and professionalism when working with students.

Performs pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Complies with all school safety policies and state transportation regulations at all times.

Enforces the transportation safety protocols and procedures to ensure student well-being.

Ensures vehicles are clean, fueled, and fully stocked with emergency equipment and first aid supplies.

Performs regular inspections and preventative maintenance on school vehicles, including buses and vans, to maintain safety and state compliance.

Tracks vehicle mileage, fuel usage, service intervals, and inspection schedules.

Performs other duties as assigned.
