Summary of Responsibilities

To prepare the vehicle for the painting process; to perform high quality automotive painting on vehicle chassis, vehicle module, cabinets and/or small parts.

To perform high quality coating applications such as interior and exterior grade linings; to assemble and apply the stripe layouts to the vehicle using established prints and layout designs or by creating new prints and designs.

Technical Skills/Competencies (technical knowledge, education and experience)

High School diploma or equivalent

Two years prior working experience in automotive painting with AXALTA paints

Experience with multi-color painting applications

Experience with formula mixing and color blending

Experience with bodywork, sanding, masking, hand/air tools and tape measure

Personality Traits / Core Skills

High cooperation with bodywork and vehicle prep departments

Essential Functions/Physical Requirements

Ability to pass spirometric testing and physical requirements

Cleanliness and operation of equipment including earplugs, respirators, spray gun and hoses
