Fertilizer Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Fertilization Technician is responsible for the safe and accurate application of fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and turf treatments to Landscape Logic client properties.

This role supports turf health, environmental responsibility, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply fertilizers and turf treatments according to product labels, state regulations, and company standards Collaborate with team to solve plant/turf health issues Work independently Follow all company processes and procedures Willingness to continue to learn industry trends, safety procedures, and treatment protocols Travel to job sites Strong customer service mindset Identify turf issues including weeds, insects, disease, and nutrient deficiencies Operate and maintain application equipment and service vehicles Complete accurate service records and application logs Communicate professionally with clients regarding lawn health and service outcomes Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental best practices QUALIFICATIONS: Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Core, 3A, 3B, and 6A) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent At least three years of experience in green industry required WORK ENVIRONMENT: Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the workday Use of required personal protective equipment The information provided is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position.
