Industrial-Outpatient Physical Therapist Split Unique opportunity to work Industrial Setting AND Outpatient Setting! Doctors of Physical Therapy is looking for a physical therapist to partner with a leading American manufacturer in a state-of-the-art industrial setting where the focus is on injury prevention, coaching employees, and industrial testing.
The therapist will also carry a traditional caseload in our Beaver Dam or Watertown location.

No productivity requirements; the focus is on keeping workers healthy Injury management, screening, and prevention performed in an industrial setting A member of a nationwide successful team of industrial therapists Monday-Friday schedule Responsibilities Assess symptoms of musculoskeletal soreness and provide treatment within OSHA First Aid Guidelines Provide early intervention assessment and care Coach employees on optimal body mechanics and work postures Identify and assess ergonomic areas of concern and recommend solutions to lower risk Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based PT care Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult with safety team, plant management, production supervisors, and other stakeholders Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Document patient care services Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings.
Understand reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and be able to design a clinically superior patient program that allows for heightened patient success.
Demonstrate consistent Compliance excellence by (not limited to): o Develop short and long-term goals for patients o Implement plan of care o Provide comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality.
o Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the ongoing treatment of the patient.
o Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve benefits of physical therapy.
o Plan and execute discharge of patients Maintain contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops, continuing education, etc.
Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner including, but not limited to, other health care professionals, insurance companies, third party payers, case managers, etc.
