lT Administrator - Radford, VA

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or engineering or related field, OR must have an Associate's degree in computer science, information technology or engineering with CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification or 2-5 years' proven experience as an IT Administrator or relevant position.

-Must have experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Azure administration.

-Must have knowledge of Microsoft licensing.

-Must possess good knowledge of managing security groups.

-Mobile Data Management administration experience preferred.

-SQL Database management / administration experience preferred.

-Sage 300 or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience preferred.

-Experience in Cybersecurity mitigation preferred.

-Experience with Firewall administration preferred.

-Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) preferred.

-Amazon Web Service administration preferred.

-Must possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

-Good planning, time management and organization skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

-In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.

-Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

-Good working knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations.

-A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture.

-Must be able to receive clearance from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE).

-Must possess valid state driver's license.

-Must have ability to interact with contractors to verify systems are installed and operating properly.

JOB DUTIES: -Provide technical support to analyze and resolve IT problems or assist workers in solving work problems at Radford and Dublin VA, Delanson and Bellport NY.

(This may be in person or remote.) -Serves as Administrator for Microsoft 365 environment in both Commercial and Government clouds, Microsoft Active Directory in an AWS environment and Local Area Network / Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) and Wi-Fi.

-Support Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone systems.
