Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout, and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output.

This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment (including software programming).

Includes people management and budgetary/cost reporting.

Responsible for schedule creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.

Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.

Job Location

This is an onsite position located at our Bulls Gap, TN plant.

Job Responsibilities



* Oversee, manage, and direct all maintenance procedures and operations


* Ensure all machinery is up to working standards


* Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency


* Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems


* Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc.)


* Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts


* Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures


* Create a work environment with safety as a high priority


* Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work


* Record and track daily progress/error reports


* Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed


* Create and adhere to maintenance budgets


* Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



* High school diploma or GED required


* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field preferred


* 5+ years relevant experience in maintenance


* Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems


* Previous managerial experience highly preferred
