General Surgery Physician Assistant

We're looking for a highly qualified, hard-working Physician Assistant who will thrive in a busy General Surgery Department.

The department currently consists of 6Surgeons and 3 PAs, who are looking to add a 4th PA.

This position is primarily inpatient with responsibilities including hospital rounding and OR assisting.

It will also include hospital weekend coverage and assisting in our outpatient surgery center.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changes in this busy department.

Additional details:


* The PAs work on a rotating weekly schedule, with each week varying in structure and consisting of 2-7 shifts ranging from 4.5 to 10.5 hours


* No additional call


* Established referral network with excellent collaboration between primary care and specialty care


* Minimum of 2 years' experience in general surgery required


* Compensation is a salary model ($144,178 - $172,812) based on years of experience
