Civil Engineer

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

We are seeking a mid-level position with 3+  years of experience.  This individual will provide engineering services on all phases of an assigned project under the supervision of the Project Manager. 

PRIMARY DUTIES:


* Contribute to and oversee civil/site design for a wide variety of projects, including parks, municipal infrastructure, athletic facilities, schools, higher education campuses, and industrial/commercial developments.


* Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support land development, roadway, culvert, and bridge projects.


* Assist with the design and analysis of water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.


* Prepare reports, calculations, and technical documents.


* Conduct utility coordination and support the preparation of construction documents.


* Manage assigned tasks to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parameters.


* Work both independently and collaboratively, operating with limited supervision while demonstrating sound judgment and technical expertise.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


* Proficient in AutoCAD® Civil 3d computer aided design software


* Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of software including, but not limited to Word Excel, PowerPoint, etc


* Proficient in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software


* Ability to solve problems


* Strong oral and written communication skills


* Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on schedule and within budget


* Excellent time management skills

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


* Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering Preferred) from an accredited four-year college or university


* Engineering-in-Training (EIT) preferred 

 

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $114,500.00 Annually
