Business Development Manager - Ocean Freight Order Management Solutions (OMS)

At DHL Global Forwarding, we're looking for a solutions-focused Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Ocean Freight Order Management Solutions (OMS) business across Australia.

This is not a transactional freight sales role. 

We're seeking a strategic, consultative sales professional who enjoys solving complex customer challenges, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and delivering solutions that create real business value.

Backed by DHL's global network, technology platforms, and logistics expertise, you'll work with customers to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and improve supply chain performance.

What You'll Be Doing 

You'll be responsible for identifying and winning new OMS opportunities by: 


* Building and managing a strong sales pipeline 


* Engaging senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Operations 


* Understanding customer challenges and developing tailored solutions 


* Preparing commercial proposals and business cases 


* Managing strategic sales opportunities and longer sales cycles 


* Working closely with local and global OMS experts 


* Growing revenue through both new and existing customers

* Logistics and freight forwarding 


* Supply chain solutions

* Shipping lines 


* Supply chain or procurement consulting 


* Technology or SaaS sales 


* Enterprise B2B sales 

Direct OMS experience is not required.

We can teach the product.
