Wollaston Alloys/CPP Boston is seeking a driven individual to join our team as an entry level Carpenter in our Pattern Shop! This is a crucial position within our facility.

Essential Job Functions/Duties


* Perform duties of making, repairing and performing revisions and alterations on wood, metal or plastic forms for usage as foundry tools using blueprints.


* Repairing shell and air set patterns for production.


* Maintains tools and equipment, maintains work area in a safe, clean and orderly condition.


* Observe all company rules and regulations.


* Perform other related duties as required or as directed.

Qualifications


* Trade school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred.


* The ability to follow/understand instructions in English to perform duties required.


* The ability to read blueprints is preferred.


* Basic carpentry skills preferred.


* The ability to safely operated woodworking power equipment.
