.NET Backend/DevOps Engineer

About the Role

NED League is looking for a Senior .NET Backend Engineer with a strong focus on quality engineering and DevOps.

You'll develop and maintain backend services for DC microgrids while driving testing best practices, CI/CD, and operational excellence to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing software.

Responsibilities


* Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core.


* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.


* Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.


* Work closely with QA to improve software quality, defect prevention, and release readiness.


* Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.


* Collaborate with DevOps to improve deployment processes, monitoring, and operational efficiency.


* Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices for testing, code quality, and maintainability.


* Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements.

Requirements


* 3+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET Core.


* Strong experience writing unit and integration tests.


* Experience working closely with QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.


* Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


* Experience with Azure, Docker, and GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.


* Solid understanding of SQL databases.


* Strong knowledge of software design principles, version control (Git), and release management.


* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have


* Experience with Azure Service Bus.


* Knowledge of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), or CQRS.


* Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.

Tech Stack: .NET Core, C#, Azure, SQL Server, Docker, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
