GSC Data Transformation & Automation Engineer

As a GSC Data Transformation & Automation Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring reliable data ingestion, transformation, and maintenance to support business decision-making.

You lead the creation and evolution of data ingestion processes, design data objects, and refine data pipelines to meet business needs.

You implement robust monitoring methods to enhance data reliability, combine raw data into consistent formats, and collaborate in developing testing architectures for data extraction and transformation.

You lead efforts in bug fixing, model modifications, and fine-tuning code to optimize system performance while considering future data needs.

As an individual contributor with specialized expertise in data engineering, you focus on delivering and implementing technical processes using advanced knowledge in data pipeline and system management.

You apply conceptual knowledge of data engineering to deliver results that have some impact on others.

Your decisions typically focus on methods, tactics, and processes to complete technical tasks.

You solve routine and non-routine problems independently, by applying an understanding of technical concepts.

You work independently with general guidance in adherence to policies, procedures, quality, and compliance standards and may seek guidance for more complex issues.

Key Responsibilities


* Participate in global and regional transformation projects involving data migration, data harmonization, master data alignment, and process standardization across business functions and systems.


* Lead cross-cultural collaboration, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with global markets, regions, and functional partners.


* Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, transformation, and migration issues to ensure seamless data flow across the organization's ecosystem.


* Develop and validate data quality rules to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.


* Monitor data quality indicators and investigate anomalies, failures, and data discrepancies.


* Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

Also, implement monitoring, alerting, and process enhancements to increase reliability and reduce support effort.



* Leadc the delivery of trusted datasets for dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions ensuring that data structures and pipelines support scalable and accurate business insights.


* Participate in data engineering initiatives, enhancements, and projects from requirements gathering through deployment.


* Manage assigned tasks, priorities, risks, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications


* At least 3 years of experience in analytics, data office or similar role (experience in shared services or global hub preferred).


* Experience working with data and processes within one or more supply chain domains, such as Plan, Source, Make, or Deliver.
