Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

The hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 for employees hired in the Monterey, Salinas, CA area.

Position Summary

The Youth Specialist is responsible for the care and supervision of children and youth placed at the Receiving Center.

Major responsibilities include providing care and supervision of youth, completing youth screenings, implementing a youth's service and safety plans, working one on one with youth utilizing interventions in support of identified behaviors, medication administration, documentation, transporting youth, liaison with public health nurse and county social workers, and maintaining the center site

* Work in coordination with Center team members to implement youth's service plan.
