About the Role

As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a vital role in a wide range of construction and paving projects.

What You'll Do


* Champion a safe work environment by rigorously following all safety policies, procedures, and protocols-your safety and that of your team is our top priority.


* Follow all companies, OSHA, and MSHA regulations for safe and compliant job execution, and promptly report any issues to leadership or safety personnel.


* Support the construction and paving crews with hands-on tasks such as shoveling, raking, operating a wheelbarrow, and directing trucks for safe and precise operations.


* Communicate with equipment operators to ensure seamless movement and alignment of materials using hand signals and tools.


* Execute daily tasks as directed by your Foreman, adapting quickly to the ever-changing demands of the project.


* Operate small power tools (e.g., jackhammers) as needed, improving your technical skill set on the job.


* Dig, spread, and level construction materials for optimal project results.


* Move and handle materials, tools, and supplies with care and efficiency.


* Install, relocate, and remove traffic control devices such as signs, barricades, and cones to keep work zones safe.


* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance-your presence makes a difference.


* Take on additional responsibilities as assigned-no two days are ever the same.
