At Siemens Healthineers, we are seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to lead the definition, integration, and delivery of complex medical imaging systems.

This role is ideal for an experienced systems engineer who enjoys solving multidisciplinary challenges, collaborating across global teams, and driving innovative products from concept through commercialization.

As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will serve as the technical leader responsible for translating clinical and customer needs into robust system solutions while ensuring seamless integration across hardware, software, and clinical workflows.

You are responsible for:


* Leading the end-to-end systems engineering activities for new product development programs, maintaining ownership of system functionality throughout the development lifecycle.


* Collaborating with clinical, service, manufacturing, product management, regulatory, and engineering teams to elicit and define high-quality system requirements.


* Translating user, clinical, and business needs into detailed, traceable system requirements and technical specifications.


* Driving system architecture, functional decomposition, and interface definition across complex hardware and software subsystems.


* Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical risks while proactively driving resolution strategies throughout development.


* Leading system integration activities across globally distributed engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable product performance.


* Defining and supporting system-level verification and validation strategies to ensure products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and clinical needs.


* Performing system-level analyses, including safety risk assessments, to support compliance with applicable medical device regulations.


* Championing both technical excellence and clinical effectiveness by ensuring products deliver meaningful value to healthcare providers and patients.


* Partnering with multidisciplinary engineering teams to bring innovative technologies from concept into commercially successful medical imaging products.
