Quality Technician
Summary
The primary responsibility of the Quality Technician is to preform quality inspections.
The Quality Technician will ensure that products are properly identified and packaged and supports manufacturing by identifying quality concerns.

Job Duties
* Responsible for preforming quality inspections within designated area.
* Utilizes tools such as precision gauges, calipers, height stress, Rockwell tools, gloss meters, dial indicators, etc.,
* Conducts gauge inspections on parts.
* Apart of the piece approval process.
* Acts as an internal auditor for the plant to ensure that quality standards are followed across all work.
* Participates and initiates problem solving and continuous improvement.
* Communicates quality alerts to the appropriate individual, ensuring that excess scrap is eliminated.
* May be required to do on-site sorting at customer locations.
* Attends quality systems meetings, as necessary.
* Followed ISO 14001 and TS 16949 requirements per standard.
* Follows help chain, as needed.
* Performs other duties as needed and assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
* Understanding of automotive quality standards, practices, and procedures.
* Ability to read, interpret documents; safety alerts, control plans, work instructions, labels, Safety Data Sheets
* Required to push quality cart around plant to service internal customers/lines.

* Availability to work subject to manufacturing needs
* Exposed to manufacturing hazards
* Overtime availability
* Physically Demanding (i.e.
Capacity to lift weights) up to 50lbs.
