Receiving Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Performs system related tasks such as generating cycle counts, data input, reconciliation, and communicating and coordinating investigation regarding any discrepancies.



* Ability to perform item maintenance changes in PRMS / SAP.



* Performs daily audits and system related updates relating to inventory integrity.



* Performs receiving related tasks for all products received.



* Reads & routes correspondence relating to operations and distribution.



* Communicates effectively through routine correspondence and maintains, revises, and updates data systems utilizing Excel, Word, Outlook, and PRMS / SAP.



* Follows safety requirements for the production and warehouse facility, including job specific requirements such as always required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), attends required safety training, and adheres to safety rules and expectations.



* Participates in process improvement activities, housekeeping, and 5S within assigned area and/or within the facility.



* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:


* 3 years of forklift experience


* 1 years of transportation or shipping/receiving/warehousing experience


* High school diploma or higher; or a combination of relevant education and experience

Physical Requirements: Office and manufacturing environment.

Able to lift 50lbs, able to stand for prolonged periods, able to walk long distances, and work long hours.

Work Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to manufacturing equipment and machinery, forklifts, and pallets.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme hot and cold weather conditions.

Personal protective equipment is required in all areas of the production plant.
